I stepped into a bookstore yesterday

and was greeted by Jorie Grahams, Louise Glucks, Billy Collinses, and Robert Hasses.

Why, oh, why does money always have to be an object?

Oh, well. One book per payday, then. That's the best I can do.

None of the above. I had already bought Neil Garcia's The Sorrows of Water and Performing The Self, that day.

I'll have to wait 'til the end of the month. =p

ah. yung collected stories ni lydia davis, na di ko nabili last time dahil inuna ko yung how fiction works ni james wood. tapos dahil kakapanalo lang ni rae (armantrout -- close kami, first name basis, haha)ng pulitzer, gusto ko na yung versed niya, baka ipabili ko sa isang friend na uuwi from the states. yung bagong robert hass din kasi love ko rin yun. tapos kailangan ko rin ng... saka yung isa pa ni... at yung kay ano rin... saka nga pala yung isang librong di ko pa nabili last time, yung savage detectives at 2666 ni roberto bolano, saka yung isa pa... saka... hay, sana maraming marami akong pera :( ayan nalungkot.

ayun, hindi versed ang naipabili ko kasi di masyadong inapruban ng friend ko e hehe e tiwala ako sa kanya-- kaya nagpabili ng isa ko pang love-- si anne boyer, the romance of happy workers. excited na ako! :)
