Itching for Elsewhere

I can't wait to get my hands on Conchitina Cruz's new book, Elsewhere Held and Lingered. I keep forgetting to look it up in the bookstores.
Now, let me make a mental note to do that the next time I visit the mall, as I seem to be afflicted with short-term memory loss.

Okay, done.

Hope it doesn't get erased.

Hi, the book is available at the UP Press Bookstore in UP Diliman and the Filipinas Heritage Library on Makati Avenue. Sorry, big bookstores out of our league, they have oppressive consignment rates for indie presses like ours. Thanks for plugging the book here :)

Thanks for the update.
;p

I'll probably go to Filipinas Heritage, then. UP Diliman is too far from where I live.

Wheeee! Am so excited!
;p

Thanks again!

And it's sad, how these big bookstores can't afford (hmp) to decrease their rates. They don't seem to realize that it's tantamount to depriving the Filipino writers of the exposure they so rightly deserve, and which they, being bookstores and "advocates of learning," should be promoting, in the first place, if they want quality writing to be accessible to those who would wish to purchase it.
